Privacy Policy
Effective date: March 26, 2026 (beta)
Important note
This Privacy Policy applies to the current public beta release of Mach Triage and may be updated before general availability.
Who we are
Mach Triage (“we”, “us”, or “our”) provides a desktop application and web portal that help you triage and manage work across Jira, Linear, GitHub Issues, and local workspaces.
What data we use
We designed Mach Triage as a local-first desktop workflow. This means your work items (for example: Jira issues, Linear issues, and GitHub Issues) are not shipped to our servers for processing.
Where work data lives
- We use provider APIs (for example: Atlassian, Linear, and GitHub), but provider work item data stays on your device in a local database (SQLite).
- We do not transmit or harvest your provider work items to our own servers for processing.
- For your account we keep a small cloud record: your email, sign-in state, and whether you are on Free or Pro. That record is stored using Google Firebase (Firestore).
- Payments are handled by Stripe; we do not store your card on our servers.
Authentication and licensing
Sign-in uses Google Firebase Authentication. Your plan (Free or Pro) is stored with your account so the desktop app can unlock the right features. After you complete checkout, your Pro status updates once Stripe confirms payment successfully.
Payments
Stripe processes payments (including Payment Links). We do not store your full payment credentials on our infrastructure. For card data handling and subprocessors, see Stripe’s documentation and privacy policy.
Your choices
You can request access to, deletion of, or correction of your account data by contacting us. If you cancel or delete your account, access to premium features will be removed according to the billing and account state.
